From the archives and straight to the annex, SOAP 269 features the one and only Ariel X during "the black hair days", AKA her transformation from sexy wrestler chick to all-out terror on the mats. This is not the Ariel X of 2010. That being said, she'd already wrestled elsewhere, her physical conditioning is good and she's had some training at the time of this shoot. Her opponent, Kiki, is most definitely going put what training Ariel has to the test on this day. At 5'9" and 140 lbs., Kiki's got nearly 6 inches and 30 lbs. on Ariel, and as we learned in her previous outing, the Hawaiian i is athletic, tough, and aggressive. Kiki's size presents Ariel with quite a challenge. Matter of fact, Ariel spend most of the first half of the match on her back, fending off her larger foe as best she can. Kiki is a battler, and just keeps coming at Ariel in waves, but though frequently on top, she just can't pass through Ariel's defenses enough to really get her in a compromising position. This is a close matchup, with only a couple submissions scored, but there's a lot of hard grappling in there. Kiki is raw, but a tough matchup for anyone, and the ever evolving Ariel X gives us an early glimpse of what was to come in the near future.
